
The Atlanta Braves real estate division acquired Pennant Park, a six-building office complex located at the intersection of I-75 and I-285 adjacent to The Battery Atlanta. Owned by Rubenstein Partners since 2017, Pennant Park features 763,465 square feet of office space situated on approximately 34 acres and includes over 2,700 parking spaces. No sales price was disclosed.
The property currently has 24 tenants anchored by organizations such as The Home Depot. The offices have an occupancy rate of over 80% and are close to its entertainment center.
Mike Plant, President and CEO of Braves Development Company, said, “Acquiring this adjacent property expands our footprint and positions us to capitalize on the interest we continue to see in The Battery Atlanta. Additionally, this will provide expanded parking for the approximately 9 million people who visit us each year.”
Anchored by Truist Park, home of the Atlanta Braves™, The Battery Atlanta is a sports and entertainment experience. The 2.25-million-square-foot mixed-use destination features restaurants and bars, as well as a 4,000-square-foot music venue.
