HONOR has been teasing its upcoming tablet, the MagicPad 4, for a while now. The company already gave us a look at the new slate’s design through a number of promotional photos. Also, the brand revealed the key specifications of the new high-end slate recently. HONOR has now revealed that the MagicPad 4 is the world’s thinnest tablet with a waistline of just 4.8mm.
HONOR MagicPad 4 is slimmer than the new iPad and Galaxy tablets
The HONOR MagicPad 4 has the slimmest waistline at 4.8mm in the world of tablets. It is a full millimeter thinner than its predecessor, the MagicPad 3. Furthermore, the slate is slightly slimmer than the Apple iPad Pro and Samsung Galaxy Tab S11, which both measure 5.1mm around the waist. It’s worth mentioning that this measurement doesn’t count the camera bump of these tablets.
It will be a high-end tablet with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset
HONOR has already revealed a number of features of the MagicPad 4 tablet. The brand has revealed that the slate will arrive with a massive 12.3-inch OLED display, which will have a refresh rate of 165Hz. This high refresh rate should allow smoother scrolling, enhanced gaming performance, and improved responsiveness across all applications.
The MagicPad 4 will have a recent Qualcomm Snapdragon 8x series processor, likely the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, based on the latest reports. HONOR will offer the new tablet in two RAM and storage variants – 12GB + 256GB and 16GB + 512GB. In terms of optics, the device will feature a 13MP primary camera at the rear and a 9MP shooter up front.
HONOR has also teased that the MagicPad 4 tablet will offer a massive 10,100mAh battery. The company will reveal the full specifications, pricing, and availability details at the upcoming Mobile World Congress event in the first week of March.
