Google has just added some new AI features to Android. There are three main points to get across here, or in other words, three new changes that you should be aware of. We’ll kick things off with Gemini.
Gemini can now handle your to-do list, but it’s limited at the moment
Gemini now handles your to-do list. This is starting as a beta feature, actually, in the Gemini app. It will be available on select devices only, like the newly-announced Samsung Galaxy S26 series and the Pixel 10 series. And also, for the time being, it’s only available in the US and Korea.
What does it do exactly? Well, it can “offload tedious, multi-step tasks to Gemini.” Some examples are ordering a ride or building a grocery cart. Those are the examples that Google used.

Gemini does run in the background, so you can still send texts or check email while it navigates only the specific app you requested. This feature will only be available for select apps in the food, grocery, and rideshare categories… at first. Later on, it will expand to other categories.
Circle to Search gets a fashion upgrade, while Scam Detection is better than ever
The second update has to do with Circle to Search. You can now do more with it than before. The latest update makes it possible to search for everything you see on your screen. Starting this week, you’ll be able to “find the look” for entire outfits, from shirts to shoes and everything in between. This change is also coming only to the Galaxy S26 and Pixel 10 series devices, at first.
The last addition are improvements to the Scam Detection. Google is using on-device Gemini model to make Scam Detection for phone calls available in the Samsung Phone app on the Galaxy S26 devices that are set to English language in the US.

Google did say that it also made improvements to Scam Detection for text messages in Google Messages, though.
