FCC Chairman Brendan Carr has urged broadcasters to air patriotic programming in celebration of America’s 250th birthday, but a better idea would be to display the First Amendment on screens before broadcasts, in stadiums, and in cinemas to promote civics education and remind Americans of the importance of free expression.
