HONOR’s latest foldable, the Magic V6, will debut at the MWC 2026 event at the beginning of next month. It’s coming out way earlier than the predecessor did last year. With the launch just a few days away, leaks don’t seem to be stopping. Earlier this week, we came across live images of the foldable in the hands of actor Nicholas Tse. This time, the HONOR Magic V6 has been spotted at the Winter Olympics, currently happening in Italy.
HONOR Magic V6 makes an appearance at the Olympics
Xu Mengtao, who is an Olympic gold medalist in aerial skiing, was seen using the HONOR Magic V6 foldable right after the championship. The images clearly suggest the foldable will be ultra-slim even when folded. We can also see the signature octagonal rear camera module. Shortly after her win, HONOR on Weibo congratulated Xu Mengtao on the achievement and also announced her as an ambassador for the Magic V6 foldable.
This isn’t the first time, though. Xu Mengtao already served as HONOR’s witness ambassador once before, for the Magic Vs series in 2022. Besides the Magic V6, the athlete was also using the Huawei Mate XTs tri-fold.
Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, 7,100mAh battery, and 120W fast charging
As for the specs, the HONOR Magic V6 is likely to arrive with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, an upgrade from the Snapdragon 8 Elite on the Magic V5 from last year. It could house a 200MP main camera, which is again a notable upgrade from a 50MP lens on the predecessor. The phone might also house a periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom.
HONOR Magic V6 may put other foldables to shame with its large 7,150mAh battery (China variant)/6,850mAh battery (global version). It’ll offer 120W fast charging support and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. Lastly, the HONOR Magic V6 could be available in four colors: Sunrise Gold, Red Hare, Velvet Black, and Snow White. We should know more details about it during the announcement in a few days.
