Samsung has just announced a double-storage offer for those of you who pre-order one of the Galaxy S26 series smartphones. It has been confirmed in one country only, at least for now.
Samsung announces a free storage upgrade for the Galaxy S26 series
Do note that the offer has been confirmed for India only, thus far, though. On the Galaxy S26 pre-reservation page, it says that pre-ordering the 256GB variant of either of the phones will get you upgraded to a 512GB model for free.

There doesn’t seem to be such an offer for those of you pre-ordering a 512GB storage model. In the image provided above, Samsung clearly states that it will upgrade you for free.
This could mean that a price bump is coming
Does this mean all three devices will get a price bump? Well, considering all the rumors we’ve seen recently, that seems like a real possibility at this point. That is especially true after a recent report from Korea.
There is a good chance that Samsung will announce the double-storage offer in other countries in the near future. We’re confident that India won’t be the only one to have such an offer, not even close.
As a reminder, the Samsung Galaxy S26 series will become official on February 25. So, we’re exactly one week from the launch date for all three smartphones.
We’ve recently shared the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra renders and specs. That was followed by a ton more renders in all colors. There’s really not much left to hide.
These three devices are quite similar to their predecessors
Neither of the three phones will be a huge change from their predecessors. They’ll both look similar and have similar internals as well. The Galaxy S26 Ultra will be the only one to ship with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 across the globe, while the other two phones will utilize the Exynos 2600 as well (depending on the market).
The ‘Ultra’ model will have some other perks, such as a better camera setup, an S Pen stylus, a Privacy Display, and more.
