Besides the Galaxy S26 series, Samsung is also working on launching its next set of mid-range offerings in the A-series. These are the Galaxy A57 and Galaxy A37. We know how these phones will look, courtesy of the renders we’ve shared. In a fresh development, the Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57 are now listed on the Google Play Console. This indicates that we’re inching closer to their official launch.
Galaxy A37 and A57 appear on the Google Play Console
Firstly, the Google Play Console listing confirms the marketing names of both phones. Starting things off with the Galaxy A37, it’ll feature 6GB RAM (though it’ll be available with more RAM options) and run Android 16 OS out of the box. No surprises there. The Galaxy A37 could feature an in-house Exynos 1480 SoC, paired with Samsung Xclipse 530 (1300 MHz) GPU.
In comparison, the Galaxy A36 came with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chip. It appears Samsung is going back to Exynos. The listing also shows it will sport an FHD+ display with 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution. The placeholder image shows the Galaxy A37 in black shade. But from the renders, we learned it will also get a lavender shade.
The listings confirm their marketing names
Moving to Galaxy A57. Previous leaks have revealed quite a bit about the phone in terms of specs. The Google Play Console listing now reconfirms things. The upcoming Galaxy A-series phone will feature the Exynos 1680 SoC, a generational upgrade over the Exynos 1580 on the Galaxy A56. This will be paired with the Samsung Xclipse 550 (1200 MHz) GPU and 8GB RAM.
It is likely to boot Android 16 OS out of the box and sport an FHD+ display with 1,080 X 2,340 pixels. The image of the Galaxy A57 shows a centre punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper, slim bezels, and a rectangular island on the back to house triple cameras. The listing also shows the phone in a grey-ish shade.
It’s not clear when the phones will officially launch at the moment. We can expect an announcement shortly after the Unpacked event on February 25th. The mention of “SM-A376U” and “SM-A576U1” suggests the phones will also be heading to the US. The “U” suffix reportedly indicates the USA carrier-locked variants.
