CBRE announced that Max Barron has joined the firm’s St. Louis office as an associate. He will work with Matt Bukhshtaber, Mark Bukhshtaber and Kenin Halilovic, specializing in the acquisition and disposition of multifamily properties across the greater St. Louis region.
Sean Austin has returned to Lee & Associates as a principal in its industrial brokerage group. Over the course of his career, he has represented more than 20 million square feet of institutionally owned industrial projects. Sean originally joined Lee & Associates of Illinois in 2018 as a vice president and was promoted to principal in 2021. Most recently, Austin served as executive vice president at Colliers.
Colliers announced that the veteran tenant rep team of Joe Zona, Kevin Schultz, and John Gaines has joined its brokerage team as executive vice president and vice presidents, respectively. The trio, who join from Newmark, will provide portfolio management services to U.S. and global clients. They will be based in the firm’s downtown Chicago office.
The Chicago Chapter of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) recently made an addition to its executive board. Nicholas D. Panarese, III, SIOR, executive vice president with Van Vlissingen and Company, will serve as board member at large with the organization, which includes nearly 200 of the top office and industrial real estate brokers in the Chicago market.
Cushman & Wakefield has welcomed the addition of veteran real estate professionals Howard Caplan, Nick Saraceno and Steve Aaronson to its Chicago brokerage team as directors. Joining Cushman from CTK Chicago Partners, the trio brings decades of multi-disciplinary commercial real estate experience to the firm, where they will primarily focus on driving growth within the industrial sector.
