Prolific filmmaker Taylor Sheridan is teaming up with Hillwood to build a film and television hub in the Alliance area of Fort Worth. The two entities will helm the effort to build SGS Studios, a 450,000-square-foot production campus. Sheridan is executive producing Landman, Tulsa King (with a NOLA King spin-off in development), Lioness, Mayor of Kingstown, and new, upcoming series like Marshals and The Madison.
The Dallas Business Journal reports the facility will be the largest studio complex operating in Texas and will initially support four Paramount Television productions. As part of the partnership, SGS Studios will operate and oversee all on-site production services, positioning the campus as a full-service destination for both current projects and future industry growth.
Besides the movie studio, Alliance Texas features industrial, residential, retail, and aviation, including the Perot Field Fort Worth Alliance Airport. The project has generated over $130 billion in economic impact, hosting 590 companies and 66,000+ jobs.
