In a move to achieve just that, JLab is launching a new pair of headphones that are quite gigantic in size. Quite literally, we mean. JLab’s new headphones, the Blue XL, are oversized and also double as Bluetooth speakers.

These are basically “headphone speakers” unless you have an exceptionally large head. The basic idea here is to wear them around your neck and stream music. Alternatively, you can also throw them on a table/bed by inserting one ear up into the other and play tunes for everyone nearby to hear, like a speaker.
The JLab Blue XL limited edition headphones feature 2.5-inch dynamic drivers and radiators in each ear cup. The headphone-speaker hybrid delivers a 30W power output. The Blue XL headphones support JLab Signature Sound EQ, which is optimized for vocals and bass.

JLab claims the Blue XL will offer users around 20 hours of use on a single charge, which is quite decent. There’s also fast charging support, which takes three hours to fully charge via a USB Type-C port. The device connects wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.4 over the SBC and AAC codecs. However, there’s no High-Res Bluetooth support.
JLab’s Blue XL speaker-headphones cost $99.99, and one can purchase them from the company’s online store. The speaker-headphone hybrid will be available in a single blue color version.
