
After multiple leaks, rumors, and official teasers, iQOO has finally launched the iQOO 15 Ultra in China. The company has introduced this smartphone as a gaming flagship packed with the power of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, the latest and best the company has to offer at this point. If you are into gaming, you should watch out for this one.
iQOO 15 Ultra launched with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and gaming-centric features
As far as specs are concerned, the iQOO 15 Ultra features a 6.85-inch flat M14 AMOLED display, which offers 2K resolution (3168×1440), a 144Hz refresh rate, 8,000 nits peak brightness, and 118% DCI-P3 coverage. Just to be clear, Samsung has developed the display panel in question. Additionally, the display comes with support for HDR, 2160Hz PWM, and DC dimming. iQOO also says that the display comes with a polarizer-free design, which apparently will offer better motion clarity and eye comfort, making it suitable for someone who uses a smartphone all day long. Not to forget, the display also supports up to 4000Hz touch sampling and 480Hz multi-finger response.
As mentioned earlier, the iQOO 15 Ultra packs Qualcomm’s 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, paired with an Adreno 840 GPU. The phone also comes with UFS 4.1 storage, LPDDR5X Ultra Pro RAM, and the in-house Q3 esports chip, making it a gaming beast. Speaking of games, this smartphone also supports real-time 2K upscaling, full-scene ray tracing, and 120fps frame interpolation. Putting it simply, you will get solid visuals while playing your favorite titles.
Moving on, the iQOO 15 Ultra also uses the Ice Dome cooling system. It features a 17×17mm 59-blade fan, an 8,000mm² vapor chamber, graphite layers, and aerogel insulation. Notably, all are TÜV Rheinland certified for reliability. Interestingly, you also get pressure-sensitive shoulder triggers, a magnetic-axis motor for 4D vibration, and a 500Hz gyroscope.
iQOO 15 Ultra camera, software, battery, and charging
Speaking of photography and videography, the iQOO 15 Ultra sports a triple rear camera setup. There’s a 50MP main camera with a Sony IMX921 image sensor and OIS support. Besides that, you’ve got a 50MP ultra-wide camera with a 107° field of view. Furthermore, the third, a 50MP periscope telephoto camera, features the Sony IMX882 image sensor and comes with 3x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom. Meanwhile, a 32MP front camera greets you from above the display and supports 4K video recording. Not to forget, the rear setup supports up to 8K video recording.
As far as software is concerned, the iQOO 15 Ultra runs on Android 16-based OriginOS 6. In addition, there are a bunch of software-related features included in this smartphone. For example, the iQOO 15 Ultra features Atomic Motion 6.0 animations and a new Game Space dashboard for better game management and performance analysis. The OS also supports 2K 60fps casting and one-tap streaming for numerous games at 144fps.
The iQOO 15 Ultra packs a 7,400mAh single-cell Blue Ocean battery. It supports 100W wired fast charging and 40W wireless charging. The device further comes with IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance, a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, NFC, and Dolby Atmos stereo speakers. In terms of connectivity, you’ll get dual SIM 5G support, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and USB 3.2 Gen 1.

Pricing and availability
The iQOO 15 Ultra is available in silver (2049) and black (2077) color options. There are a total of four models of this smartphone. The base model, with 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, costs 5,699 yuan ($798). If you go for more storage (512GB) with the same RAM option, it’ll set you back by 5,999 yuan ($840).
The 16GB + 1TB configuration of the iQOO 15 Ultra costs 6,999 yuan ($980). Meanwhile, the beefiest model, with 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, is priced at 7,699 yuan ($1,078). If you’re looking to buy, pre-orders are now live, while sales will begin on February 10, 2026.
