The OnePlus 15 is now getting a new update. Yes, we’re talking about the global version of the phone, of course. This new update delivers the February 2026 Android security patch and a couple more changes.
New OnePlus 15 update brings February 2026 security patch and more
The update is marked as CPH2745_16.0.3.503, and it weighs 259.72MB. The exact weight of the update could differ from one region to the next, though. The point is, the update started to roll out in global markets, and it will spread fast.
In addition to the February 2026 Android security patch, this update also optimizes the touch control experience, says the company’s changelog. The last entry in the changelog mentions improved system stability (overall).
That’s basically it. This is not a big update, obviously. In fact, it’s one of the least notable updates we’ve seen from the company in a while. OnePlus usually has quite a few changes listed in the changelog.
The update is rolling out in stages, so be patient
Still, an improved experience is an improved experience, not to mention a security boost. It may take a while for the update to reach your phone, as it’s rolling out in stages, but get ready, as it is coming.
This update is based on Android 16, of course. On top of the latest version of Android from Google, OnePlus includes OxygenOS 16 on its global smartphones. The phone actually shipped with that version of Android and OnePlus’ skin.
The OnePlus 15 has received quite a few updates since it launched a couple of months ago. That’s what OnePlus usually does, as it wants to get the experience as perfect as possible. We have to admit that the phone has been working great since launch, though.
We have reviewed the OnePlus 15 when it launched, in case you’d like to know more about the device. It’s one of the best phones on the market, that’s for sure, especially if you consider its price tag.
