The vivo X300 Ultra is set to be announced pretty soon, and we’re now seeing more and more rumors about the upcoming device. Including some details about its cameras, which is perhaps the most important aspect for this ‘Ultra’.
According to a tipster on Weibo, the vivo X300 Ultra is going to be the heaviest of all ‘Ultra’ phones currently on the market, and that’s because of the high-quality components and premium hardware.
The vivo X300 Ultra is going to use a new Zeiss coating that will deliver a significant boost to low-light photography, according to the leak. It is also expected to have a redesigned telephoto lens assembly. There will likely be a new 200-megapixel periscope telephoto on the X300 Ultra, which we already have on the X300 Pro.
vivo is continuing to churn out epic camera phones. And really put Samsung to shame.
vivo is expected to announce the X300 Ultra in China next month
vivo is also expected to launch this device in China in March. And this time around, we are expecting a global launch. Whereas the previous ‘Ultra’ models from vivo and OPPO have both been China-only releases.
Other specs for the vivo X300 Ultra include the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, which would be vivo’s first device with Qualcomm’s newest flagship silicon. It’ll also have a 6.82-inch BOE LTPO display, with a larger 7,000mAh capacity battery.
As far as cameras go, we are also expected to see dual 200MP rear cameras, a larger ultrawide camera, and a 5MP multispectral sensor. It’s expected to replace the X200 Ultra as the best camera smartphone on the planet, even though the X300 Pro and Find X9 Pro both came very close to replacing it. It’s still very hard to replace a 1-inch type sensor with something smaller, which is what the X300 Ultra will have.
