The Nardò Ring, originally known as Pista di prova di Nardò della Fiat, was built in Italy in 1975 and is famous for its 7.8-mile banked oval capable of handling high-speed vehicle runs in excess of 200 mph. Unfortunately, its 50th birthday has a dampener thrown over it. Now known as the Nardo Technical Center (NTC), it’s been run by Porsche since 2012 and has been modernized periodically, allowing the automaker to test vehicles like the Taycan in its own controlled environment.
