The Grammys are literally just around the corner and will air in two days’ time, and to celebrate this annual music awards show, Google is giving users a series of perks and other real-life rewards as part of its Google Play Rewards program, available on Android phones and tablets. What’s neat is that Google isn’t just giving stuff away online.
While it is giving stuff away online through the actual Google Play Rewards portal, it also has boots on the ground in LA, where people can get even more rewards by visiting the Google Store in Santa Monica. As for the rewards themselves, there’s a variety of options, including merchandise that’s themed after popular artists, including PinkPantheress and EJAE. There are some other pretty neat rewards, too.
The Google Play Rewards Tour has special rewards for people who visit the store
If you’re planning to be in Santa Monica between January 31 and February 2, then you might want to stop by The Google Store in the area, as Google will be handing out some cool rewards to visitors. Google says rewards are first-come, first-served. So, getting there earlier is recommended if you want the swag.
Additionally, Google says that Silver+ Play Points members will have priority access with an exclusive line and exclusive on-the-ground collectibles. What’s more, is that there are even more opportunities for rewards for some really cool (and expensive) stuff, like the EP-133 K.O. II Sampler from Teenage Engineering. These retail for $329 and are an awesome tool to have if you’re into making music and beat samples. Speaking of beats, Google is also giving away a Google Play LED Beat Bar.
If you’re not going to be in Santa Monica or can’t make it to the Santa Monica Google Store location, you can still get rewards through the Play Points portal in the Play Store. Simply tap on the Perks tab to view the rewards associated with this event, and you can redeem your rewards points for all kinds of stuff.
