As far as the specs are concerned, the Redmi Turbo 5 Max features a 6.83-inch AMOLED 12-bit display. The said panel uses M10 luminescent material and offers up to 3500 nits of peak brightness. Not to forget, you get a 120Hz screen refresh rate and a 480Hz touch sampling rate. Xiaomi also adds that the Redmi Turbo 5 Max supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. Additionally, the smartphone comes with a 3D ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor up front.
Under the hood, this Redmi lineup smartphone packs the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset. This makes the Redmi Turbo 5 Max the world’s first smartphone to use this SoC. On the software front, the new smartphone runs Android 16-based HyperOS 3 out of the box. Meanwhile, Xiaomi says that the Turbo 5 Max comes with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage.
As far as cameras are concerned, there is a 20MP punch-hole front-facing camera. On the back, there’s a dual-camera setup featuring a 50MP primary camera with the Light Fusion 600 sensor and OIS support. The said sensor pairs with an 8MP ultra-wide shooter. Do note that the Redmi Turbo 5 Max also comes with stereo speakers, Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 6, NFC, and dual SIM support. Notably, it also comes with an IP69 rating for water and dust resistance.
A big 9,000mAh battery steals the show
The Redmi Turbo 5 Max packs a massive 9,000mAh battery, the biggest among any Xiaomi smartphone launched to date. Additionally, the device supports 100W wired charging and 27W reverse charging.
