The Other Art Fair Brooklyn Spring 2026Â (International)
From May 14 to 17, 2026, The Other Art Fair returns to Brooklyn and seeks applications for general booths and the New Futures program, which awards a free booth space to an early-career artist.

Quilt Visions 2026Â (International)
Visions Museum of Textile Art in San Diego invites entries for Quilt Visions 2026, the museum’s 27th international juried exhibition. Exhibition jurors will select work exemplifying art quilting at the highest level of quality, innovation, surface design techniques, excellence in composition, and craftsmanship. Entry is $40 for museum members and $50 for non-members.
Deadline: 11:59 p.m. PST on February 9, 2026.
Jackson’s Art Prize (International)
Artists working in two-dimensional media are invited to apply for Jackson’s Art Prize, with 31 total awards. First Prize is £6,000, plus £2,000 in art supplies. There is a £6.50 submission fee per artwork entry; students get one entry free.

Boise Airport Wall Surface 3D Public Art (International)
The City of Boise’s Department of Arts & History and Boise Airport invite artists and artist teams to submit qualifications for the opportunity to design a new three-dimensional work to be installed in the Boise Airport. The selected artist(s) will be awarded $50,000 to design, fabricate, and install a surface-based work of art on a flat, vertical wall.

McNeese National Works on Paper Exhibition (U.S.)
The 39th Annual McNeese National Works on Paper Exhibition will be juried by Nicole Donnelly, Executive Director of The Morgan Art of Papermaking Conservatory. $3,000 will be available for the purchase of works for the McNeese State University Works on Paper Permanent Collection. There is a $35 entry fee.

Sónar+D Exhibition (International)
Sónar+D is a festival in Barcelona focused on the promotion of creativity and innovation in the field of digital creativity. Its 2026 open call offers applicants the opportunity to exhibit their work as part of a festival recognized for its commitment to cutting-edge content. Each selected project will receive an €800 stipend, plus guaranteed exhibition space at the festival and exhibition costs covered up to €1,000.

2026 World of WearableArt Competition (International)
The 2026 sections for the world’s leading wearable art competition include Kinetic, Metallic, and Bizarre Bra, alongside the annual sections of Aotearoa, Open, and Avant-garde. Designers are encouraged to focus on original storytelling and meticulous construction. Individuals or teams
consisting of two or three designers are welcome to enter.
Deadline: February 26, 2026 (international applicants) and April 15, 2026 (New Zealand applicants).
Hasselblad Masters 2026 Competition (International)
Hasselblad is looking for great images and unique visions for the Hasselblad Masters 2026 competition. Photographers can submit images made with any camera from any brand, digital or film, and any frame size. The winner receives a Hasselblad X2D II 100C camera, two XCD Series lenses, and a creative fund of €5,000. Selected photographers will have the opportunity to be published in the Hasselblad Masters book.

Art for State Buildings (South Dakota)
South Dakota Arts Council is seeking submissions for the Art for State Buildings program, for which selected artwork is purchased for display in publicly accessible areas in state government buildings in and near the State Capitol Building in Pierre.

Audubon Photography Awards (United States, Canada, Chile, and Colombia)
These prestigious photography awards showcase stunning photos and videos that celebrate the beauty and joy of birds and highlight how they connect people across geographies and ecosystems. Judges will award nine prizes to Chile and Colombia residents and eight prizes to U.S. and Canada residents. This year, in addition to $5,000, the Grand Prize winners will each receive a voyage to Antarctica in a trip combining birding, conservation, and exploration.

RISE by Henley Festival Emerging Artist Prize (U.K.)
The RISE by Henley Festival Emerging Artist Prize was created to acknowledge emerging talent in the visual arts, especially artists who are in the early stages of their professional career or who have not yet established a reputation as an artist amongst art curators, buyers, and critics. First prize is £1,000, and two runners-up will be awarded £500. The winners will also be given an exhibition space at RISE Gallery at Henley Festival 2026.

Grants
International Support Grants (Norway)
Office for Contemporary Art Norway provides support for international activity and participation in projects and exhibitions abroad for artists and art professionals from Norway. Funding can be allocated toward travel support, such as to participate in seminars, or for production support abroad.

The Ian Rosenfeld Fund (International)
Gallery Rosenfeld invites applications for the Ian Rosenfeld Fund, a £7,500 annual award supporting an early- to mid-career artist, offered in the spirit of patronage to provide not only financial support but an ongoing relationship, guidance, and mentorship.

Villa Albertine Creative Grants and Curatorial Fellowships (U.S. and France)
Villa Albertine’s Creative Grants provide financial support to American and French nonprofit institutions wishing to organize exhibitions featuring living French or France-based artists and American artists, respectively. The Curatorial Fellowships offer funding to American curators wishing to conduct research on the French visual arts scene. In partnership with ICI | Independent Curators International, the program offers grants of $3,000 each to U.S.-based curators.

Dallas Museum of Art Awards for Artists (Texas & surrounding region)
Dallas Museum of Art offers three separate grants. The Clare Hart DeGolyer Memorial Fund awards up to $1,500 for artists between the ages of 15 and 25 who reside in Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Arizona, and Colorado. The Otis and Velma Davis Dozier Travel Grant, up to $6,000, is awarded to professional artists over the age of 30 who reside in Texas. And the Arch and Ann Giles Kimbrough Fund awards up to $3,500 to artists under the age of 30 who reside in Texas.

We Are Here Scotland Creators’ Fund+ (Scotland)
Creators’ Fund+ is a 12-month program supporting Black and Global Majority creatives and cultural professionals based in Scotland as they build sustainable careers on their own terms. Awardees will receive a support package worth £2,980, including direct funding and 20 hours of paid mentoring from industry professionals.

Spector Craft Prize for Emerging Artists (U.S.)
The Spector Craft Prize for Emerging Artists annually honors five early-career artists with seven years or less of studio practice. Each recipient is recognized through a $10,000 financial award, mentorship opportunities, participation in the Spector Craft Conference (to be held at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in November 2026), and professional network development. Disciplines include ceramics, textiles, woodworking, glass, metalwork, basketry, and paper arts.

Inspiration Grants (Kansas City vicinity)
These $3,500 project grants provided by ArtsKC are for individual artists or small groups of artists to support ambitious projects and/or work that makes a positive impact on the community. Visual, dance, music, theater, literature and poetry, fashion, film, and interdisciplinary art applications are welcome.

The Adolf and Esther Gottlieb Emergency Grant (International)
This program provides one-time financial assistance to qualified painters, printmakers, and sculptors whose needs resulted from an unforeseen catastrophic incident and who lack the resources to meet that situation. Awardees typically receive $5,000 and up to $15,000.

Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant (International)
The foundation welcomes applications from painters, sculptors, and artists working on paper, including printmakers. Grants are intended for one year and range up to $50,000. The artist’s circumstances determine the size of the grant, and professional exhibition history will be considered.

Residencies, Fellowships, & More
Houston Center for Contemporary Craft Residency (International)
Artists are awarded three-to-twelve-month residencies with 24/7 access to studio space, cultural and professional development opportunities, a $1,000 monthly stipend that includes a small housing/materials allowance, and the opportunity to give an artist talk.

Luminarts Fellowships (Chicago)
The Luminarts Fellowship Program includes awards in visual arts, creative writing, classical music, and jazz improvisation. Fellowships include an unrestricted monetary award of $10,000 to $15,000, depending on the discipline.

Sloss Metal Furnaces Emerging Artist Residency + Internship (International)
Sloss Furnaces Foundation in Birmingham, Alabama, hosts a three-week residency designed for emerging artists interested in developing their studio practice and gaining technical, hands-on foundry skills. Artists will be provided with a living stipend, materials budget, sand and iron, and studio access.
Deadline: 11:59 p.m. EST on February 6, 2026.
MacDowell Fellowship for Fall/Winter 2026Â (International)
MacDowell encourages applications from artists of all backgrounds in the following disciplines: architecture, film/video, interdisciplinary arts, literature, music composition, theatre, and visual arts. About 300 are awarded fellowships each year, and the sole criterion for acceptance is artistic excellence. There are no residency fees, and need-based stipends and travel reimbursement grants are available to open the residency to the broadest possible community of artists. There is a $30 application fee.

SPACES  Echo Artists-in-Residence Program  (Northeast Ohio)
The Echo Artists in Residence Program invites two artists each quarter to experiment and create on-site projects for SPACES’ galleries and the greater Cleveland community. Artists receive an honorarium and a production budget, and residencies typically last four to six weeks, resulting in an approximately six-week-long exhibition.

Forge Project Fellowship (U.S. and Canada)
Forge Project is pleased to announce its open call for applications for its 2026 funded fellowship program for Indigenous artists, scholars, organizers, cultural workers, researchers, and educators. Applicants must be an enrolled member, citizen, or descendant of a state- or federally recognized American Indian tribe or Alaska Native corporation, or of Native Hawaiian, Canadian First Nation, Métis, or Inuit ancestry. Each Forge Project Fellow will receive $25,000 toward their practice and have full access to the Forge Project site and libraries in Taghkanic, New York.

Long Meadow Art Residency (International)
Long Meadow Art Residency offers solo residencies ranging from six weeks to three months in the Berkshire Mountains. The program provides ample studio space and on-site housing, plus a $3,000 monthly stipend, a $2,500 supply budget, professional photography, and other benefits.

Watermill Center 2026 International Summer Program (International)
The International Summer Program residency brings 20 artists together for four weeks at The Watermill Center in Water Mill, New York. Participants are invited to develop new works alongside emerging artists and established creative professionals from various countries and disciplines. The residency is free, but artists receive no additional stipend. There is a $12 application fee.

Bethany Arts Community Emerging Artist Fellowship (U.S.)
The Emerging Artist Fellowship facilitates two cohorts, with two fellows in each cohort, running for approximately 15 weeks each in Ossining, New York. The program is designed to offer a creative home to emerging artists as they transition into their professional careers and artistic practices. Artists are provided with boarding, a private studio, and a $250 weekly stipend.

Rabbit Island Residency (International)
Rabbit Island is 91 acres of forest and sandstone located in Lake Superior, four miles east of Michigan’s Keweenaw Peninsula. The residency provides financial support, time, and pristine natural spaces to challenge creative practices in a wilderness environment. Artists live and work on the island for two to four weeks during one of three residency periods, engaging directly with the landscape, responding to notions of conservation, ecology, and sustainability.

Van Lier Fellowship 2026-27Â (New York City)
The Clemente Center is accepting applications for its pilot 2026–2027 Van Lier Fellowship, an 18-month residency designed to support two NYC-based visual artists between the ages of 18 and 30. Participants receive a monetary award of $20,000, shared studio access, professional development, and exhibition development.

Virginia A. Groot Material Exploration Residency (Western North Carolina)
The Virginia A. Groot Material Exploration Residency at the Center for Craft is an eight-week visiting artist residency in Asheville, North Carolina, that provides four residents with a $10,000 honorarium, time to develop their work, access to new materials, and facilitated shared learning experiences.

Prairie Ronde Summer Residencies (International)
Prairie Ronde is hosted by The Mill at Vicksburg, a redevelopment project of the former Lee Paper Company mill, in the historic village of Vicksburg, Michigan. Artists from a range of disciplines are provided with a five- to six-week residency with the goal of engaging with The Mill and its surrounding 80 acres of property. Three residency sessions are offered per year during the spring, summer, and fall. The summer residency period runs from June 1 to September 14. Artists receive a $2,000 stipend upon completion of the residency, a $500 travel grant, private housing, and a gallery show. There is a $25 application fee.
