About an hour ago, we published official Samsung Galaxy A57 renders. Well, we’re back with yet another exclusive. This time around, we are showing you the design of the Samsung Galaxy A37, the Galaxy A57’s sibling. And yes, we’re once again focusing on the official renders of the device.
The Samsung Galaxy A37 design gets shown for the first time
If you take a look at the gallery below, you’ll see the two images we have to share, and they’re both showing a lavender color of the phone (we’re not sure what the official name for that color is). If you’ve seen the Galaxy A57 images, you’ll notice that this design is quite similar, which is not a surprise at all. As far as we know, this is actually the very first look at the Galaxy A37’s design. Its images have not leaked thus far.
You can see that the phone will have a flat display, with a centered display camera hole up top. Its bezels won’t be thick at all, but they also won’t be uniform. The bottom bezel will be a bit thicker than the rest.
The phone’s frame will be flat all around, while all of its physical buttons sit on the right-hand side. The power/lock key is placed below the volume up and down buttons. You’ll also notice that the right side of the phone’s frame is not equally wide across the board.
It will have a different Key Island than the Galaxy A17
There is a small difference in terms of width between the top and bottom sides of the frame here on the right side. The physical buttons (and upper portion of the frame) sit on a wider part of the frame than the bottom part of that frame.
That is kind of difficult to explain. On the Galaxy A17, for example, that part is called the Key Island 2.0, and the physical buttons do sit on a raised part of the frame, but only that section is raised. That doesn’t seem to be the case on the Galaxy A37, but it does seem to be the case on the Galaxy A57. So the Galaxy A57 will be more similar to the Galaxy A17 in that regard.
We’re not sure if Samsung will refer to this setup as the Key Island 2.0 as well, but it’s easily possible. It’s interesting that the company decided to go with a slightly different approach here.
Three camreas will sit on the back, while the backplate will be flat
In any case, if we flip the phone around, you’ll notice a triple camera setup. Those three cameras are a part of the same camera island, which sits in the top-left corner. They are vertically-aligned, and the camera island does protrude on the back. An LED flash sits right next to the camera island.
The phone’s backplate is flat, and the company’s branding sits in the lower portion of the backplate. You’ll see a horizontal ‘Samsung’ branding there, as is the case on other Galaxy phones.
If you are wondering about the phone’s specs, well, we don’t have any specific information. Some info did surface via rumors, though, so we can talk about that.
A 5,000mAh battery will likely be used, and 45W charging supported
When it comes to its battery, its rated capacity is around 4,905mAh, based on certifications, but Samsung will likely market it as a 5,000mAh battery. When it comes to charging, the phone could end up offering the same 45W wired charging as its predecessor.
When it comes to cameras, the main camera on the Galaxy A37 will allegedly be the same as the main shooter on the Galaxy A57. In other words, you’ll get a 50-megapixel camera on the device, Sony’s IMX906 sensor (1/1.56-inch sensor size) is rumored. There’s a chance Samsung could opt for the ISOCELL S5KGNJ instead, though.
An 8-megapixel ultrawide camera is also expected on the back, along with a 5-megapixel macro camera. There’s still no information regarding the phone’s front-facing shooter. Android 16 is expected to come pre-installed, along with One UI 8.0 or One UI 8.5.
It could launch sooner than expected
The Samsung Galaxy A36 arrived on March 2, 2025. The Galaxy A37 is rumored to arrive a bit sooner than expected, in the first or second week of February. That’s about all the information that surfaced thus far.
