The Samsung Galaxy A57 is one of the company’s most anticipated mid-range smartphones. Some information regarding the phone did surface thus far, but we haven’t seen official renders until now. We managed to get our hands on the Samsung Galaxy A57 official renders, which give us a great look at the design of the upcoming handset. We have two renders to show you, giving you a great look at both the front and the back of the device.
The Samsung Galaxy A57’s official renders show us the phone’s design
You can check out both of those images below this paragraph. They’re showing a black-colored version of the phone. The phone will have a flat display with a centered display camera hole up top. The bezels around the display will be quite thin, as expected. I want to say they’re uniform as well, but the bottom bezel does seem to be very slightly thicker, at least to my eyes.
You’ll notice that the right side of the frame, the section where the buttons are located, protrudes a bit more than the rest of the frame on that side. This is what Samsung refers to as ‘Key Island’, and this could be ‘Key Island 2.0’, as that’s the branding the company used for the recently announced Galaxy A17.
Speaking of buttons, the power/lock key sits right below the volume up and down keys on that side. Those are the only physical buttons on the device, by the way. The frame around the device is flat.
Three cameras will be included on the back of the phone
If we flip the phone over, you’ll see a triple camera setup on the back. Those three cameras sit in the top-left corner, and they’re vertically-aligned. They’re all included on the same camera island, which does protrude a bit. An LED flash sits next to the camera island.
The phone’s backplate seems to be completely flat, while the company’s branding sits towards the bottom of it. We don’t get to see the phone’s top and bottom sides here, but there will be no surprises there. You can expect the standard Type-C ports, microphones, and a loudspeaker (on the bottom).
Real-life images surfaced recently
I mentioned earlier that this is not the first time we’re hearing about the device. Quite a few rumors have surfaced regarding this phone, and a couple of leaks, too. We’ve recently seen some official images of the phone, real-life images, not renders. Those were published by TENAA, China’s equivalent of the FCC.
Some of the Galaxy A57’s specifications have also surfaced, thanks to certifications. Based on that information, the Galaxy A57 will feature a 6.6-inch fullHD+ (2340 x 1080) AMOLED display. It will be a 120Hz panel, by the way.
We also know it will be fueled by an octa-core chip featuring a tri-cluster CPU setup. Its cores are clocked up to 2.9GHz, 2.6GHz, and 1.95GHz. TENAA did not name the exact chip, but it sure looks like the Exynos 1680 will be used.
Two RAM variants are expected, along with a 5,000mAh battery
8GB and 12GB RAM variants are expected, though their availability will be market-dependent. We also know that at least one of the storage options will be 256GB. We are expecting more than one to be available, though.
A 5,000mAh battery will be include dinside the phone, while 45W wired charging will be supported. No, don’t expect wireless charging to be on offer here. Android 16 will come pre-installed with One UI 8.0 or 8.5.
What about cameras? Well, A 50-megapixel snapper is expected, along with a 12-megapixel secondary camera and a 5-megapixel rear-facing shooter. On the front, a 12-megapixel selfie camera will be included.
The Galaxy A57 is rumored to launch in the first or second week of February
The phone will also feature an in-display fingerprint scanner. The Samsung Galaxy A57 will measure 161.5 x 76.8 x 6.9mm, while it will weigh 182 grams. Its predecessor arrived on March 2, 2025, so we’re expecting the Galaxy A57 to arrive in the coming month or two. One rumor indicated that it may happen in the first or second week of February, actually.
