Motorola has a bunch of smartphone launches planned for this year. Earlier this month, the company announced the flagship Motorola Signature in the Indian market. Speaking of budget-friendly smartphones, Motorola appears to be also getting ready for the launch of the Moto Edge 70 Fusion. Last week, a leak detailed the full specifications of the upcoming smartphone. Now, folks over at YTECHB have leaked the official-looking renders of the Moto Edge 70 Fusion, which gives closer look at its design.
Leaked renders of the Moto Edge 70 Fusion offer a close look at the slim design
As seen in the leaked renders, the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion appears to feature a “nylon and linen-inspired” finish at the back. So, we are assuming that the phone won’t be slippery. The device retains a slim profile, featuring a 6.78-inch “quad-curved” OLED display at the front. The said display reportedly comes with a 144Hz screen refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i display protection.
The rear camera module now looks more prominent, with a squircle ring surrounding the module, which makes it look separated from the rear panel. To compare, the Edge 60 Fusion has a unibody-style camera design, which gives the impression that the back panel is blended with it instead of sitting on top of it. The three rear camera setup features a 50MP primary camera with a Sony Lytia image sensor. For selfies, there’s a 32MP punch-hole camera at the front.
Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset will take care of the device’s performance. The device might boot Android 16 out of the box and offer three years of Android OS updates. Not to forget, the Moto Edge 70 Fusion will come with IP68 and IP69 certifications for dust and water resistance.
Two variants, five color options, and a big 7,000mAh battery
Moving on, Motorola will offer the Moto Edge 70 Fusion in two variants. The base variant will reportedly feature 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Whereas the beefier model will come with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Motorola has reportedly also upgraded the battery department, as the upcoming smartphone will pack a big 7,000mAh battery with support for 68W wired fast charging. The Moto Edge 70 Fusion will be available in five colors: Blue Surf, Country Air, Orient Blue, Sporting Green, and Silhouette. The ones seen in the renders below are Country Air and Silhouette. As of now, there are no details about the pricing and launch date of this smartphone.
