Vivo launched its X200 smartphone series last year. The brand introduced as many as five models under the new lineup – the X200, X200S, X200 Pro (review), X200 Pro Mini, and X200 Ultra. However, the company has apparently not finished the series. It has just added a new model called the Vivo X200T to the lineup. The device has arrived as a high-end offering with features like Dimensity 9400+ SoC, 50MP triple cameras, and wireless charging capability.
Meet Vivo’s latest high-end smartphone, the X200T
Vivo has positioned the X200T below the X300 (review) smartphone in its lineup. It is a chipset and a battery upgrade variant of the Vivo X200. It features an attractive design with minimal bezels and IP58/IP69 dust and water resistance. The phone gets a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.
At the helm, the Vivo X200T offers an octa-core 3nm Dimensity 9400+ processor with Immortalis-G925 GPU. Vivo is offering the phone in two RAM and storage variants – 12GB + 256GB and 16GB + 512GB.
Triple 50MP cameras and 40W wireless charging on offer too
In the camera department, the Vivo X200T pairs a 50MP main camera (Sony IMX921 sensor) with a 50MP wide-angle camera (Samsung JN1 sensor). There’s also a 50MP periscope telephoto sensor onboard the device with ZEISS optics. For selfies and video calling, users will get a 32MP camera with the ISOCELL KD1 sensor.
As for the other features, the Vivo X200T gets an in-display optical fingerprint sensor. The phone has stereo speakers with Hi-Res audio support. Connectivity is standard, and a 6,200mAh battery keeps it running. It also supports 90W fast charging and 40W wireless charging capabilities.
Regarding pricing, the Vivo X200T’s base variant with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage costs Rs 59,999. The higher-specced model with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage will sell for Rs 69,900. Right now, the phone is only available in India, and Vivo will unlikely release it in any other markets.
