MCA Realty, Inc. purchased a multi-tenant industrial building located at 1555 Burke Avenue in San Francisco’s Bayview/Hunters Point submarket for $11 million. The firm acquired the building with its MCA Realty Industrial Growth Fund II in an off-market transaction from a San Francisco-based private investor.
The new ownership plans significant capital improvements to the property, both exterior and interior. “We acquired the project due to the opportunity to improve its value through making strategic improvements and modernizing the asset,” said Tyler Mattox, principal at MCA Realty. “We believe in the San Francisco industrial market as it serves as a key hub for innovation-driven commerce and urban logistics and does not have an abundance of small bay industrial space in the urban core.”
Jim Farris of JMF Capital represented MCA Realty in this transaction. Karl Hansen of CBRE represented the undisclosed seller.
