Grupo Eco has filed plans for a $45 million apartment complex in Hallandale Beach.
The S. Florida Business Journal reports the vacant property, at 2189 S. E. 7th Street, is just south of Peter Bluesten Park’s baseball and soccer fields and two blocks west of the Gulfstream Park racetrack and casino.
The developer purchased the land for $5.3 million in June 2024.
The project will total 200,000 square feet in eight stories. Vita at the Park would feature 129 apartments and 169 parking spaces, including 23 workforce housing units to take advantage of a density bonus.
There would be 16 studio apartments, 90 one-bedroom units and 23 two-bedroom units. The building would have a pool deck on the third floor.
Sklarchitecture designed Vita at the Park.
The developer previously completed the Atlantic Village retail and office center in the city.
