
- Oceanland appointed Melissa K. Green as Chief Sales and Marketing Officer. During her accomplished 38-year career as EVP/CMO, she has collaborated with both private and public developers, overseeing portfolios in the New York, Los Angeles and Florida markets. The S. Florida Business Journal reports that Melissa will lead the team and advise on development planning, design, marketing strategy and sales management to deliver maximum value for Oceanland’s endeavors.
- Olga Iskender, VP of Asset Management at YMP Real Estate, with over 15 years of experience in multifamily and commercial real estate, managing more than $1B in value-add transactions nationwide. She oversees multifamily, commercial, and ALF divisions, leading value-add programs, developing operating budgets, handling lender relations and creating strategies for new deals.Â
- A mixed-use project anchored by a professional soccer stadium is being proposed on vacant land on Winter Garden’s east side, next to Plant Street’s interchange with State Road 429. Federal Financing intends to develop a soccer stadium, a hotel, commercial [space] and mixed-use buildings, multi-family buildings, townhomes, sports practice fields, sports courts and parks.
- An entity registered to Walt Disney World Resort bought an office building in Celebration’s South Village area for $19.4 million. Disney acquired the 106,196-square-foot building at 1390 Celebration Blvd. from Celebration Advance LLC. The property was built in 2009.
- Long Lake Development is ready to start moving dirt on an 18.2-acre project near Baldwin Park. The project includes 363 apartments spread across five 4-story buildings, plus a pool, a dog park, and a clubhouse.
