If you’re a fan of the Super Mario Bros. Wonder game, this little unique tech companion will definitely grab your attention. After teasing the new Talking Flower during a Nintendo Direct showcase last year, the company is finally sharing more details about this talkative companion. We now have details like what this interactive toy does and more
Nintendo Talking Flower can speak in 11 languages
The Nintendo Talking Flower appears to share some functionality with Nintendo’s Alarmo alarm clock. As evident from its name, the Talking Flower talks spontaneously throughout your day. You’ll hear phrases like “sometimes it’s nice to space out,” and “is it weird for flowers to talk?” There’s a physical button that you can press to trigger random thoughts on demand. Or, you can press and hold it to silence the toy for a while.
The Talking Flower will also announce the hour almost accurately, comment on the time of the day, and the temperature, thanks to a built-in sensor. It can even play select background music.
Available from March
Users can also set a bedtime and wake-up time. Additionally, you can also set the Talking Flower to speak at specific times of the day. At launch, it can speak in 11 different languages, like English, Spanish, French, Chinese, Korean, Italian, German, Dutch, Portuguese, and Japanese. Nintendo notes that users may occasionally hear languages other than the one they have set.
There are no LEDs or a screen, so the Talking Flower will just tell you when its batteries are low. The new Nintendo toy is now available to pre-order via the company’s online store and GameStop. The sales are set to begin on March 12th, 2026. The Nintendo Talking Flower will cost you $34.99.
