The Volkswagen Golf GTI is arguably the automaker’s most recognizable and famous current model, and to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the original Golf being launched at the 1975 Frankfurt Motor Show, VW has announced that a new special edition will soon be revealed. According to a video shared on YouTube (embedded at the bottom of this post), Volkswagen will unveil “an all-new Golf GTI special edition at the Nürburgring,” the scene of the last GTI special edition’s launch.
