Hilton Branded Hotel Slated for Deer Valley

Extell Development Company and Hilton signed an agreement for a new Canopy by Hilton Hotel at Deer Valley East Village. The 180-key hotel, which is slated to open in the summer of 2026, will mark the Canopy by Hilton brand’s first hotel in Utah. 

Overlooking the Jordanelle Reservoir and Deer Valley Resort, and situated steps from the Jordanelle Express Gondola, Canopy by Hilton at Deer Valley provides ski access during the season and in the summer months.  

The hotel’s architecture is by The Richardson Design Partnership. It will offer on-site amenities, including a pool and hot tub, steam room and sauna, fitness center and golf simulator. There will also be a dedicated ski reception lobby and ski locker room, meeting and conference facilities, and two levels of underground parking accommodating 176 stalls.

Canopy at Deer Valley will offer a restaurant, an apres-ski lounge, a grab-and-go coffee shop, and a rooftop lounge with mountain views.
