For nearly eight decades, the V12 engine has been the king of internal combustion. Sure, we might get a little bit of flak for that claim, as many will argue it’s the V8. However, when you think about it, the V12 makes sense. For example, nearly all the iconic supercars from the 1960s, 70s and 80s sported some sort of 12-pot, such as the Lamborghini Miura. However, the mill was also sometimes found in top-of-the-line luxury cars and grand tourers.
