Many great supercharged engines have recently passed on, including a variety of Hellcats, the Camaro ZL-1, the C7 Corvette Z06, and various V6 and V8 Jaguars. May they be remembered fondly. Audi had a supercharged V6 engine for years, but it was replaced by a turbocharged unit almost a decade ago. The first-generation new Mini Cooper was also supercharged, but eventually went turbocharged. Ditto the Chevrolet Cobalt SS. Heck, the go-fast arm of Mercedes-Benz, AMG, even had an entire era built around supercharged V6 and V8 engines, which powered a dozen models for an entire generation in the mid-2000s.
