Imagine having a personal assistant who can bring you your morning brief, making it a bit easier to plan your day with better clarity. Well, Google wants to do just that digitally with its new experimental AI productivity agent, CC. Google Labs is testing this currently. Powered by Gemini, CC will also help you stay organized and get things done.
Google Labs tests new CC AI productivity Agent
When you sign up, the Google CC AI agent will connect with your Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Drive info to gain an understanding of your day. From that, it delivers a “Your Day Ahead” briefing to your inbox every morning. This will include your schedule, key tasks, and any relevant updates in one clear summary. This way, you’ll know what you need to do next.
Whether it’s paying a bill or preparing for an appointment, CC will be on top of that. Additionally, CC will also prepare email drafts and have calendar links ready when needed.

Furthermore, you can steer CC by replying or emailing directly with custom requests, teaching it things about yourself, or asking it to remember ideas and to do tasks. Google notes that CC is an early Labs experiment. It is launching in early access today, starting with Google AI Ultra and paid subscribers. For now, the CC AI agent is only available in the US and Canada.
If all this sounds exciting, you can sign up to join the waitlist. For what it’s worth, Gemini on your Android device already does some of these tasks, but with CC, things appear to get smarter and more refined.
