
- Jason Lee, MAI and Lance Lawson, MAI, have joined the Valuation & Advisory Property Tax Agency Group at Cushman & Wakefield and will operate from the firm’s Austin, Texas office. Lee and Lawson both join Cushman & Wakefield from tax services firm Ryan. Both Lee and Lawson previously worked at Morrison & Head until Ryan acquired M&H in December 2023.
- Seven Hills Realty Trust closed on a fully funded $18.5 million first mortgage floating rate bridge loan to refinance LL Sams, a 271-bed student housing property directly adjacent to the Baylor University campus in Waco, Texas. The loan has a three-year initial term with two one-year extension options. SEVN’s manager, Tremont Realty Capital, was introduced to the transaction by JLL, which advised Shore to Shore Properties, Inc., the sponsor.
- RangeWater Real Estate and equity partner CenterSquare Investment Management acquired a residential community in the Frisco submarket of the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area. The joint venture purchased Sorrel Phillips Creek Ranch, located at 5050 Farm To Market Road 423 in Frisco. The acquisition was an off-the-market deal, and the price was not disclosed.
- Newcor represented Milstead PC Investments in acquiring a strategic 22-acre tract at the southwest corner of McCaleb Road and Chapel Road in Montgomery, Texas. Newcor’s David Alexander and Josh Cheatham negotiated the acquisition on behalf of Ken Milstead of Milstead PC Investments. Milstead has no immediate plans to develop the property.
- Next Health announced a three-unit expansion into Houston through an area development agreement. With the first location slated to open in late 2025, these new locations will bring the therapies in proactive healthcare to the 713. Next Health empowers individuals to achieve optimal health and vitality through biomarker testing, partnership with expert providers, and an extensive menu of proactive healthcare services.
