
Beacon Capital Partners and Transwestern Real Estate Services (TRS) have completed three office leases totaling 78,864 square feet at Avocet Tower, a 370,000-square-foot, 22-story office building located at 7373 Wisconsin Avenue in Bethesda, Maryland.
The transactions include Ullico, an insurance and investment solutions provider headquartered in Washington, D.C., leasing 30,333 square feet to relocate its Maryland regional office from Silver Spring, and investment firm Arlington Capital Partners leased 30,333 square feet to expand and move its headquarters from The Wilson at 7272 Wisconsin Ave. Additionally, DiamondRock Hospitality Company increased its office footprint with an 18,198-square-foot lease to relocate from 2 Bethesda Metro Center.
Beacon was represented by Transwestern’s Agency Leasing team, led by Phil McCarthy, Keith Foery, Mark Boyce, and Karla Rivera, while CBRE represented the tenants in the transactions. Strategically located within walking distance of the Red Line Metro station and the forthcoming Purple Line, Avocet Tower is three miles from downtown Washington, D.C. and within 40 minutes of the major regional airports.
