
- Partners Real Estate announced that retail brokers Bill Coats and Vicki Adelstein have joined the company as Senior Vice Presidents in its San Antonio office. They were previously with Foresite Commercial Real Estate. Mr. Coats exclusively represented multiple Class A retail developments. Ms. Adelstein has two decades of commercial real estate experience and has also worked as a broker at The Retail Connection in Dallas, United Commercial Realty in San Antonio, and Old Republic Title in San Antonio.
- Russell Hodges has been appointed Senior Managing Director and Houston Market Leader at CBRE, overseeing the markets of New Orleans and Baton Rouge. In this role, he will oversee the market’s business operations and drive the growth strategies for all Advisory Service lines, including leasing, sales, debt and structured finance, valuation and property management. Hodges will replace Peter Mainguy, who has stepped down from the role to pursue other opportunities.Â
- Transwestern expanded its national industrial platform with the addition of John Bollman, Barrett Bufkin and Austin Fahy, three seasoned professionals who bring deep expertise in third-party logistics (3PL), supply chain strategy and national tenant representation. The trio joins the firm today and will be based in Transwestern’s Dallas office.
- STAG Industrial, a real estate investment trust focused on owning single-tenant industrial properties across the US, is seeking a Vice President, Asset Management in Dallas, TX. The VP will drive the overall performance of a regional portfolio and serves as the ultimate point of accountability for the financial performance of the portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a minimum 10 years of institutional real estate experience with heavy leasing and operations. Executive search firm RETS Associates is handling the search. - Portman today is underway on 2545 Brockton, a luxury, 429-unit multifamily community in North Austin, Texas. The project, which will be developed in partnership with Austin-based Generational Commercial Properties, marks Portman’s first mixed-use and residential project in the market. Site work has already begun and Portman expects to deliver the project by March 2028. Located at 2545 Brockton Dr. in North Austin, the project is adjacent to The Domain. The loan for 2545 Brockton was provided by investment vehicles advised by Centerbridge Partners.
