
OnePlus has started rolling out a new update to the OnePlus 15. This is the OxygenOS 16.0.1.305 update, and it’s now rolling out in India. That’s where the rollout started, but it’ll spread to more markets soon.
Even when it does reach your region, however, it will roll out in batches. In other words, some of you will have to be quite patient, as it will not roll out to everyone all at once.
This update brings some fixes and improvements
With that being said, let’s see what this update has to offer. It sure is not a huge update, but it does weigh approximately 600MB, and it does bring some fixes and improvements.
This update improves the activation of the ‘Circle to Search’ feature on the OnePlus 15. Even if the gesture bar is hidden, you can launch the feature by touching and holding the area where the guide bar is usually located.
The camera launch speed has been improved as well. OnePlus has also fixed an issue where the color of photos taken in certain scenarios might be inaccurate. It also fixes an issue where the color in videos recorded on cloudy days might be inaccurate.
It improves the success rate of face unlock
Furthermore, this update improves the success rate of face unlock. It also improves the user experience when overhating occurs in certain scenarios. The system stability has also been improved.
OnePlus has also added a new interface for the AI LinkBoost Network Engine. You can view the number of network optimizations, reduction in lag time, and more. You can now also receive real-time notifications for network acceleration in scenarios with poor network conditions.
The last entry in the changelog says that you can now test your network speed and check network status details, such as latency and upload/download speeds. That’s pretty much it.
