Both Google and OnePlus have excellent flagship smartphones to offer at the moment. In this article, we’ll compare them. We’ll be comparing the Google Pixel 10 Pro XL vs OnePlus 13. It’s worth noting that the OnePlus 13 is close to being replaced by OnePlus 15 at this point, but that phone has not been announced for global markets. The OnePlus 13 will remain an excellent option even after that happens, though.
These two phones are both large-format foldables, though they’re very different. That goes for both their designs and internals, actually. We’ll first list their specifications, and then we’ll move to compare them across a number of other categories, including design, display, performance, battery life, cameras, and audio. Let’s get to it, shall we?

Google Pixel 10 Pro XL vs OnePlus 13: Design
From the front, the two phones do look somewhat similar, but the moment you look at any other portion of them, you’ll see notable differences. Both smartphones have a flat display with a centered display camera hole up top. That camera hole is smaller on the OnePlus 13, though. The OnePlus 13 also has a quad-curved glass on top of its display, unlike the Pixel 10 Pro XL. Both phones have rounded corners, though the ones on the Pixel 10 Pro XL offer more of a curve.
The frame of the Pixel 10 Pro XL is flat, though it does round up slightly towards the edges, for comfort’s sake. The OnePlus 13 also has a flat frame, technically, though it curves towards the edges notably more than the Pixel 10 Pro XL’s. Google handset includes the power/lock key on the right side, and it sits above the volume up and down keys. The OnePlus 13 has a power/lock key on the right side, below the volume rocker keys. On the left, you’ll find the phone’s alert slider.
If we flip them around, you’ll notice considerably different setups. The Pixel 10 Pro XL has a completely flat frame, with a horizontal camera bar up top. There are three cameras inside that pill-shaped camera bar. The OnePlus 13, on the other hand, includes a circular camera island in the top-left corner. Three cameras sit in there too, while the Hasselblad logo sits i the top-right portion of the phone’s backplate. The Pixel 10 Pro XL’s backplate is completely flat, while the OnePlus 13’s does curve a bit towards the sides.
Both phones offer a frame made out of aluminum and glass. The OnePlus 13 does also come in a variant with an eco polymer back (blue model), which adds plenty of grip. Both phones are IP68 certified, while the OnePlus 13 also has the IP69 certification. It offers better ingress protection.
Google Pixel 10 Pro XL vs OnePlus 13: Display
The Google Pixel 10 Pro XL features a 6.8-inch LTPO OLED display. That panel is flat, and it supports adaptive refresh rate (1-120Hz). HDR10+ content is also supported, while the peak brightness here is 3,300 nits. The screen-to-body ratio is at around 88%, while the display aspect ratio is 20:9. The resolution here is 2992 x 1344 pixels. The display is protected by the Gorilla Glass Victus 2.

The OnePlus 13, on the flip side, has a 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED display. That panel is also flat, but it has curved glass on top. This panel can project up to 1 billion colors, while it offers an adaptive refresh rate (1-120Hz). Dolby Vision is supported, as is HDR10+ content. This display also supports high-frequency PWM dimming to protect your eyes (much higher than Google’s handset), and its brightness goes up to 4,500 nits. The screen-to-body ratio is around 91%, while the resolution here is 3168 x 1440 pixels. The Ceramic Guard protects this panel.
Both of these displays are great, and in all honesty, you’ll probably enjoy using either of them. They are both vivid and plenty bright, while they’re also sharp and have great viewing angles. The OnePlus 13 does have the advantage of higher PWM dimming, especially if you have issues with that, like some people. If not, well, you can easily use either of these two displays and be perfectly happy with them.
Google Pixel 10 Pro XL vs OnePlus 13: Performance
The Google Tensor G5 processor fuels the Pixel 10 Pro XL. That is Google’s first TSMC-made processor. It is a 3nm chip, and it’s paired with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 flash storage. The OnePlus 13 is fueled by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, a 3nm chip as well. That chip is paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 flash storage. Neither phone supports storage expansion, however.
Both smartphones offer excellent day-to-day performance. There’s really nothing to complain about here, as both of them are very, very snappy. We did not notice lag from either side, not at all. The Snapdragon 8 Elite is still more powerful than the Tensor G5, though, but that’s not something you’ll notice when using the devices. Yes, there may be a split-second difference here and there, but that’s not something worth noting.
Where you may notice the difference is in the gaming section. If you’re gaming a lot, especially higher-end titles, the Tensor G5 is not really made for gaming. It can withstand such games, but the Snapdragon 8 Elite is better equipped for them. Overheating was not a problem with either smartphone, so you don’t have to worry about that.
Google Pixel 10 Pro XL vs OnePlus 13: Battery
There is a 5,200mAh battery included in the Google Pixel 10 Pro XL. The OnePlus 13, on the other hand, has a 6,000mAh unit on the inside. OnePlus opted for a silicon-carbon battery, unlike Google. Yes, the OnePlus 13 also offers better battery life in comparison, considerably better battery life. Don’t get us wrong, the Pixel 10 Pro XL’s battery life is not bad, but it cannot compete with the likes of the OnePlus 13.
If you’re a true power user and do some gaming as well, getting the OnePlus 13 is the better call from the battery life perspective. While both phones are probably enough for most people to last through the entire day, the OnePlus 13 goes the extra mile. You can get a couple of hours of extra screen-on time with the device, at least from what we’ve seen. Your mileage may vary, though, of course. We’ve been able to hit truly high screen-on time levels with that device.
What about charging? Well, the Pixel 10 Pro XL supports 45W wired, 25W Qi2 wireless, and 5W reverse wired charging. The OnePlus 13 supports 100W wired (80W in the US), 50W wireless, 10W reverse wireless, and 5W reverse wired charging. The OnePlus 13 blows the Pixel 10 Pro XL out of the water when it comes to charging speed. It can be fully charged in only 35 minutes. It takes the Pixel 10 Pro XL almost an hour and a half to get there.
Google Pixel 10 Pro XL vs OnePlus 13: Cameras
The Google Pixel 10 Pro XL features three cameras on the back. It has a 50-megapixel main camera (1/1.31-inch sensor size), along with a 48-megapixel ultrawide unit (1/2.55-inch sensor size, 123-degree FoV), and a 48-megapixel periscope telephoto camera (1/2.55-inch sensor size, 5x optical zoom).

The OnePlus 13 also has three cameras on the back, though they’re different. The phone includes a 50-megapixel main camera (1/1.43-inch sensor size), a 50-megapixel ultrawide unit (1/2.75-inch sensor size, 120-degree FoV), and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera (1/1.95-inch sensor size, 3x optical zoom).
Both of these smartphones do a good job in the camera department, but the results are different. The Pixel 10 Pro XL is not the force some of its predecessors were, as it’s not as consistent. Some images do turn up darker than they should, for some reason. We generally preferred images from the OnePlus 13 more, mainly due to its consistency and outstanding colors, plus great low-light performance. Its periscope telephoto camera also delivered notably better results in comparison. The Pixel 10 Pro XL is still a great camera phone, though.
Audio
Both of these smartphones include stereo speakers. They are actually on the same playing field. They’re similar in both terms of loudness and general audio output quality. There’s not much that sets them apart.
There is no audio jack on either of these two phones. You can connect your wired headphones to their Type-C ports, though, of course. Alternatively, Bluetooth 6.0 is available on the Pixel 10 Pro XL, while Bluetooth 5.4 is on offer on the OnePlus 13.
