Subaru seems to be slowly going the way of Mitsubishi. It used to produce genuine world-class performance cars, in the form of turbocharged STi models that could conquer just about any road, whether slick with ice, loose with gravel, or coated with dirt. Sure, the WRX is still somewhat lukewarm, and the freshly revealed STI Concept fills us with hope. However, the automaker’s current production offerings are some way off what they used to be.
