Koenigsegg is running out of records to try and beat with its ever-faster hypercars. So this time it went to Laguna Seca in California and it beat one of its own. Sadair’s Spear, the rocketship named for a horse ridden by von Koenigsegg’s dad, has gone for a lap around the famous corkscrew and come back with a new one. It set a new fastest laptime for a production car around the iconic 2.2-mile circuit.
