The Lexus LS was a sedan that was meant to revolutionize the US luxury car market. But the launch of that car was more than 35 years ago and while it continues to be one of the best at what it does, what the luxury world wants has moved on – which means that it’s time for Lexus to move on. The LS as we know it is no more. In its place is a new idea – or rather, one idea with three parts – and idea the Japanese brand revealed today at the Japan Mobility Show. The new LS lineup includes a six-wheel minivan and this, the Lexus LS Coupe Concept. It’s not really a coupe, but it’s a very different take on the LS.
