Is it retro design if you’ve never heard of the original? Volkswagen Group brand Škoda is unintentionally asking that question with its latest concept car. The Škoda 1000 MBX concept is a new take on an obscure car the brand built in the late 1960s. The original coupe isn’t exactly well-known, even in its homeland, but it is a big deal for the company. It is also nearing its 60th anniversary, and that’s part of the reason for the creation of this cool and quirky machine.
