A well-known tipster has just revealed the OnePlus 15’s price point for one country, the UK. The information comes from Arsene Lupin, as he talked about the OnePlus 15’s price tag for a specific model of the device.
Leaked OnePlus 15 price suggests lower cost for the phone, compared to the OnePlus 13
He claims that the OnePlus 15 with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage will cost £949 in the UK. Your initial reaction may be a very negative one, considering that rumors regarding lower price tags have been swirling.
Well, if you live in the UK and are a techie, you’re probably aware that this is actually a lower price tag. The OnePlus 13 was much more expensive in the EU and the UK than it was in the US.
This same variant of the OnePlus 13 was priced at £999 at launch. So, this is technically a £50 lower price tag. We were hoping for an even more notable change compared to the OnePlus 13, but that’s not going to happen, it seems.
This gives us hope that the phone will be more affordable than its predecessor in other regions too. You can once gain expect it to be notably more affordalbe in the US than in the EU and the UK, though.
The phone will launch in a couple of days
The OnePlus 15 will become official on October 27… in China. The global variant is tipped to launch on November 13, though OnePlus still didn’t officially confirm that piece of information.
The OnePlus 15 will be fueled by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and include a 1.5K 165Hz display from BOE. That much has been confirmed. OnePlus also confirmed and showed the phone’s color variants, while it also confirmed that a 7,300mAh battery will be included. The device will support 120W wired and 50W wireless charging.
