The age of the sedan rose and fell like a deep breath, but some options are still clinging onto life. Americans simply prefer crossovers and SUVs more than any other genre, even if they don’t actually need the full capacities or capabilities of those segments. Nevertheless, many luxury brands still offer mid- or full-size sedan models at a premium price. The few mainstream automakers with sedans still in their stable include, but aren’t limited to, Honda, with the Accord, Kia, with the K4 and K5, and, of course, Toyota, with its beloved Camry.
