Exact Capital and Aleem Construction delivered the Skyline Apartments, an 11-story, 250-unit development along Hank Aaron Drive. All of the apartments will be rented at prices affordable to residents earning at or below 60% of the area median income.
Financing was provided by Invest Atlanta, Goldman Sachs, Stonehenge, Local Initiatives Support Corp. and Walker & Dunlop. The $94 million project broke ground in 2022.
Leasing has started at the development, which is approximately 20% occupied. The building features a mix of studios and one- and two-bedroom units, with a base rent of $1,200 per month.
In the same area as Skyline Apartments, shops and restaurants are starting to open at Terminal South. The mixed-use development will be located at the final stop of MARTA’s Rapid A-Line, the region’s first bus rapid transit line, which will connect the Southside Trail to Downtown.
Atlanta Beltline Inc. plans to complete the entire Southside Trail in time for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
