A couple weeks ago, I hopped across the pond to London for a pre-briefing with OPPO about the new Find X9 series. Where I was able to pick up the Find X9 Pro, and OPPO took our group to Lady Gaga’s final night at the O2. Allowing me to really test out this phone which OPPO claims is “The Ultimate Concert Phone”.
Now, OPPO’s Teleconverter was actually not allowed in the O2, so these photos were all taken with the included cameras – typically the 3x telephoto. However, I do have the watermark on each photo, so you can see what the settings were for each photo.
Right now, I’m unable to share much more than what the phone looks like and camera samples. So to hear more about the Find X9 Pro, stay tuned for the launch next week.
The most versatile camera of 2025
I’ve been a pretty big fan of OPPO and OnePlus cameras over the past couple of years – moreso OPPO because of phones like the Find X8 Ultra. And that is still the case for the Find X9 series. With the Find X9 Pro, OPPO does have a triple camera setup here, which does take some rather incredible photos. And on top of that, there’s the teleconverter that you can attach to the phone and you’ll get some really great zoom images. Here are some zoom images I took in London a couple weeks ago with the teleconverter.
First, here is a 200x photo taken with the Hasselblad teleconverter. Now it’s not perfect, but this is pretty decent. Especially considering it is coming from a smartphone camera, and handheld, without a tripod.

Below, we have a bunch of others taken with the Hasselblad Teleconverter, ranging from 10x to 40x. These images do look quite nice, and are really impressive. My only complaint with the teleconverter is that it does take a bit of extra work to install it.
