Monomoy Property Ventures and Axonic Capital acquired 590 West Peachtree Street, the site of a 462-key dual-branded hotel, in Atlanta. The Crowne Plaza Atlanta-Midtown and Staybridge Suites Atlanta-Midtown, both of which are IHG Hotels & Resorts brands, will give way to a new Marriott brand following a substantial capital investment program. Schulte Hospitality Group has been selected as the property management company.
Guests with both brands share the same fitness center, rooftop pool and public spaces. The oversized guestrooms include more than 20% suites with full kitchenettes.
Following the renovation and conversion, the rebranded Marriott Atlanta will join Marriott’s Bonvoy loyalty program and offer upgraded guestrooms, modernized public areas, an “M-Club”, and new food and beverage concepts. The hotel overlooks Georgia Tech, Emory Hospital, Mercedes-Benz Stadium and the broader Atlanta central business district.
Construction is expected to commence in late 2026 following the World Cup in Atlanta, with a reopening targeted for late 2027 ahead of Superbowl LXII in Atlanta.
