Attorney General Pam Bondi appears to be giving a good review to a “Saturday Night Live” skit in which Amy Poehler mocked her appearance before a Senate committee last week.
“Should we recreate this picture in Chicago? Loving Amy Poehler!” Bondi wrote in a post on X that tagged for Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem.
Former SNL cast member Tina Fey returned to the show to play Noem as part of the skit. Bondi’s post featured a still from the skit of Poehler frowning and Fet holding a semi-automatic rifle while wearing a baseball cap.
“My name is Pam Bondi, I spell it with an ‘I’ cause I ain’t gonna answer any of your questions,” Poehler as Bondi said in the sketch.
“My time is valuable, the DOJ has many ongoing operations and we’re moving like Kash Patel’s eyeballs, very quickly and multiple directions at once,” Poehler as Bondi added, in a joke about the FBI director.
Tagging SNL, the Department of Homeland Security posted on X: “Thanks for the free advertisement. Get Criminals Out. Make History. Save America.”
