There’s been an interesting trend under the hood of many vehicles in recent years: automakers are borrowing engines from BMW. This phenomenon isn’t exactly new, but it seems to have proliferated in recent years as smaller automakers struggle to keep up with ever-stricter emissions regulations. We had a chance to drive one such example of a BMW-powered sports car, the 2025 Morgan Plus Four, and it might be one of the finest examples of an Anglo-German team-up that we’ve ever sampled.
