A $50 million renovation is underway at 910 Louisiana, formerly known as One Shell Plaza. Located between McKinney and Walker streets, 910 Louisiana is a 1.2 million-square-foot Class A office property. The building’s 49th floor houses the exclusive Houston Club.
Busycon Properties is the building’s owner. 910 Louisiana is managed by Hines, HOK Group Inc. is overseeing the design of the renovation, and Gallant Commercial is the general contractor for the project.
Besides touch-ups to the exterior, the first floor of the 50-story tower at 910 Louisiana St. will feature restaurant spaces on each of its four corners. The renovation will also involve converting the third floor of the building into a dedicated amenity space.
Hines plans to add a new amenity space on the third floor that will include an outdoor terrace overlooking Smith Street and Hermann Square. The amenity floor will include a new 9,000-square-foot conference center, a spa-like fitness and wellness center and a 5,000-square-foot tenant lounge.
910 Louisiana currently is about 88% occupied.
