
The largest for-profit health care provider in Texas is opening its next full-service hospital in Frisco. The Baylor Scott & White Medical Center-Frisco at PGA Parkway will open on its 40-acre campus in July. It will offer inpatient care, comprehensive emergency care, surgical services, specialized care and extensive women’s services.
Community Impact reports the women’s floor offers an emergency room specifically for expectant mothers and its own operating rooms. The operating room connects to both the labor and delivery wing, postpartum and neonatal intensive care unit allowing families to stay on one floor and easing their stay.
