For the first time ever, Porsche has applied the GTS nameplate to an electric SUV with the reveal of its 2026 Macan GTS. As always, those three letters signify the sweet spot in the range, providing more agility and acceleration than lesser models without the all-out performance of the Turbo trim. This is the fifth variant in the Macan EV range, and it debuts some new styling tropes for the model while still adhering to the traditions set by the GTS nemeplate elsewhere in the Porsche portfolio. Let’s take a closer look.

As is customary for a GTS model, black painted accents abound in the front spoiler, side blades, wheel arch extensions, and rear spoiler lip, along with tinted headlights and taillights, but the GTS also introduces a new look as part of the Sport Design Package that will filter down to other Macans in the summer of next year, with a revised front and rear fascia.

Speaking of colors, the GTS is available in 15 standard and optional colors, along with approximately 60 other hues through the Paint-to-Sample program. Among these are Chalk (not pictured), Carmine Red (a GTS staple), and the new Lugano Blue shade seen above.

In terms of performance, the Macan GTS produces 509 hp in regular conditions, but activate launch control, and output jumps to 563 hp and 704 lb-ft of torque – enough to get to 60 mph from rest in 3.6 seconds. Top speed is capped at 155, with the quarter-mile sprint completed in 12 seconds flat.

Inside, the black and red theme continues, with ambient lighting highlighting the door cards, dashboard, center console, and footwells.

The contrast stitching throughout the cabin also appears in red, as do the seatbelts and the GTS logos below the headrests. Carbon fiber inlays for the steering wheel, door panels, and shifter panel make the cabin of the GTS sportier still.

Orders for the 2026 Porsche Macan GTS are now open, but before you put down at least $103,000 before options, you should know that deliveries are only expected to begin in the spring of 2026. Moreover, the Macan Turbo is currently available for only $6,500 more, and it’s got 630 hp on tap. That said, Porsche Active Suspension Management, GTS-specific dampers and roll bars, and the standard fitment of the Sport Chrono Package mean that exploiting this variant’s full potential more often should be highly rewarding.
