After months of camouflaged teasing, it’s finally time for Porsche to reveal the 2026 Cayenne Electric, the company’s third EV that follows the Taycan sport sedan and Macan Electric small SUV. The Cayenne Electric shares only a name with the gasoline and plug-in hybrid Cayenne lineup, riding on a larger version of the Premium Platform Electric architecture found under the likes of the Macan, as well as the Audi A6 and Q6 e-tron EVs. But unlike its relatives, the electron-powered Cayenne is an avowed flagship, offering up to 1,139 horsepower in top-spec Turbo trim, making it the most powerful production vehicle Porsche has ever produced (and one of the most powerful cars on the market, full stop).
